He is particularly interested in the development of newer techniques of pancreatic and liver cancer management. He is involved in the understanding of immunological changes following application of RF-based liver resection device in the various liver and pancreatic cancers, and its implication on clinical outcomes in advanced cancer with checkpoint inhibitors.
He is actively involved in clinical practice and presently working as Speciality Registrar, Imperial College London- Post CCT Multi-organ Transplant. He is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and acts as an examiner for medical school students.
Dr. Jayant has accrued several accolades for his contribution to medical sciences including Best Investigator Award from Americal College of Surgeons in 2015. Moreover, his research interest includes understanding the role of normothermic perfusion in liver transplantation and published papers and is the recipient of Young Investigator Award from "American College of Surgeons'' "Asia-Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Expert Meeting, Seoul South Korea" and "Japanese Digestive Disease Week 2018".
Dr. Jayant holds an MD certification, a Master in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery from Imperial College London & HBHI and successfully cleared his MRCS from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
